Stefan de Walle has been a member of the Dutch National Theatre ensemble for over a decade. He performed (lead) roles in plays such as CYRANO DE BERGERAC, THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO and THE CHERRY ORCHARD.
He is the two-time winner of the Arlecchino, the most prestigious Dutch theatre award, for Best Male Supporting Role in THE CHERRY ORCHARD (2010) and PLAY INSTINCT (2013). Stefan can be seen in numerous Dutch films and television series, such as SECRETS OF WAR (winner Adult’s Jury Award at the Chicago International Film Festival).
For his lead role in THE MARATHON he received a Best Actor nomination at the Netherlands Film Festival, the country's most important film award, as well as a Rembrandt Award nomination, the Dutch audience award.
In 2016 Stefan played leading roles in two films, the television film DE CRISISKARAVAAN and feature film DORST. Stefan can be seen on stage in several leading roles at the National Theatre company, such as JEANNE D'ARC.
He's currently on set of the new TV series Export Baby in which he's playing the lead.
