Halina Reijn is the winner of multiple awards in film, television and theatre. She starred in the Oscar nominated film ZUS & ZO, in Paul Verhoeven’s BLACK BOOK and Bryan Singer's VALKYRIE. She works with internationally acclaimed director Ivo van Hove at the Internationaal Theater Amsterdam, performing their plays all over the world. Most recently she starred in OBSESSION, opposite Jude Law. She can be seen in the new Swedish series CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE, and is making her directorial feature debut with INSTINCT.
Antoinette Beumer is a Dutch director and writer. Both her debut feature film THE HAPPY HOUSEWIFE, with Carice van Houten in the lead role, and her second film, LOFT, starring Barry Atsma and Marwan Kenzari, were awarded with the prestigious Platinum Film Award. It’s the first time ever for a director to win two Platinum Films in the same year. Her award winning film JACKIE premiered at TIFF, and she scored a huge box office hit with SOOF. Her critically acclaimed debut novel, MY DAD’S AN AIRPLANE, was released in January 2018. The film rights have been optioned to Topkapi Films, with Antoinette set to direct and write the screenplay.
Paula van der Oest is an Academy Award nominated director and screenwriter. Her film ZUS & ZO (2001) was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. In 2015 her film ACCUSED made it to the Academy Award’s shortlist and her film TONIO (2016) was again chosen as the Dutch entry for the Foreign Language Oscar. Her latest film YOUNGER DAYS (OT: DE KLEINE IJSTIJD) has its international premiere in October 2017 at Chicago International Film Festival. Her latest film THE BAY OF SILENCE, with Claes Bang and Olga Kurylenko in the lead roles, is currently in post production.
Sacha Polak is an award winning director and scriptwriter. HEAVEN (2011), her first feature length film, got selected for the Berlinale, FORUM 2012, and won the International Federation of Film Critics Award. Her second feature film ZURICH (2014) premiered at Berlinale 2015 and won the jury award for Best Film of in the FORUM competition. Sacha's first English language feature DIRTY GOD, which she directed and co-wrote, has been selected for the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
