Georgina Verbaan is much appreciated for the diversity of her talent. She is an actress, singer and published her first book 'Loze Ruimte' in 2016. She received critical acclaim for her role in the film THE SURPRISE, directed by Oscar winnner Mike van Diem. This performance won her the Golden Calf for Best Actress at the Netherlands Film Festival in 2015. Georgina is set to play Kitty in the second season of tv series KLEM, for which she recently received the 'Golden Notekraker' for Best Television Actor.
Halina Reijn is the winner of multiple awards in film, television and theatre. She starred in the Oscar nominated film ZUS & ZO, in Paul Verhoeven’s BLACK BOOK and Bryan Singer's VALKYRIE. She works with internationally acclaimed director Ivo van Hove at the Amsterdam Theatre Group, performing their plays all over the world. Most recently she starred in OBSESSION by director Ivo van Hove, opposite Jude Law. She will be seen next in the Swedish series CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE.
Antoinette Beumer (1962) is a Dutch director and writer. Both her debut feature film THE HAPPY HOUSEWIFE (2010), with Carice van Houten (GAME OF THRONES) in the lead role, and her second film, LOFT (2010), starring Barry Atsma (BBC’s THE SPLIT) and Marwan Kenzari (ALADDIN), were awarded with the prestigious Platinum Film Award. It’s the first time ever for a director to win two Platinum Films in the same year. Her award winning film JACKIE (2012) premiered at TIFF, and she scored a huge box office hit with SOOF (2013). Her debut novel will be released early 2018. Film rights are already optioned, with Antoinette set to direct.
Paula van der Oest is an Academy Award nominated director and screenwriter. Her film ZUS & ZO (2001) was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. In 2015 her film ACCUSED made it to the Academy Award’s shortlist and her film TONIO (2016) was again chosen as the Dutch entry for the Foreign Language Oscar. Her latest film YOUNGER DAYS (OT: DE KLEINE IJSTIJD) has its international premiere in October 2017 at Chicago International Film Festival.
Sacha Polak is an award winning director and scriptwriter. HEAVEN (2011), her first feature length film, got selected for the Berlinale, FORUM 2012, and won the International Federation of Film Critics Award. Her second feature film ZURICH (2014) premiered at Berlinale 2015 and won the jury award for Best Film of in the FORUM competition. Currently Sacha is working on her new film JADE, an English language feature set in London.
