Aiko Mila Beemsterboer is known for her lead role in the feature film VECHTMEISJE (2018). The film received multiple awards and Dutch press were raving about Aiko's powerful performance. Aiko starred in DE LIEFHEBBERS (2019) and the romantic comedy WAT IS DAN LIEFDE for which she received a Golden Calf Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Last year she could be seen in the Dutch TV-series HET A-WOORD and LIEVE MAMA. Most recently, Aiko played Anne Frank in MY BEST FRIEND ANNE FRANK, which can be seen on Netflix.
Alidtcha (1998) is an upcoming Dutch actress. She recently graduated from the Amsterdam Academy for Performing Arts and starred in multiple TV-series since. Most recently, she starred in the remake of ALL STARS, the Christmas series KERSTGEZEL.NL and the successful crime-series FLIKKEN MAASTRICHT. She just finished shooting TV-series DE DROOM VAN DE JEUGD directed by Bram Schouw and Simone van Dusseldorp.
Anna Drijver is a well-known Dutch actress who played many leading roles in films, TV-series and theatre plays. She was nominated for Best Actress at the Rembrandt Awards for her leading roles in LOFT and KOMT EEN VROUW BIJ DE DOKTER, in which she played opposite Barry Atsma and Carice van Houten. Her most recent projects include the international series HEIRS OF THE NIGHT by Diederik van Rooijen and the critically acclaimed Belgian-Dutch Netflix series UNDERCOVER. Anna is also working as a screenwriter, she did a re-write of the successful film WEG VAN JOU and is currently working on several other scenarios.
Benja Bruijning's lead role in the Dutch romantic comedy FAMILY WAY (2012) opposite Carice van Houten, marked his breakthrough to a wide audience. Recent projects include the international drama series HEIRS OF THE NIGHT directed by Diederik van Rooijen and the popular Dutch TV show NIEUWE BUREN. He recently played the lead in the play The Interpreter of Java based on the book of Alfred Birney. Benja is currently on set of the new Netlfix series Dirty Lines.
Bracha played many leading roles in both films and TV-series. She starred in the British-Dutch film THE DOMINO EFFECT, the popular German TV-movie VERLIEBT IN AMSTERDAM and the Dutch romantic comedy hits HARTENSTRAAT and ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE. She could be seen in the German crime-series DER AMSTERDAM KRIMI, 4 seasons of the Dutch TV-series OOGAPPELS and 2 editions of the Netflix Christmas film FAMILIE CLAUS. Later this year, the psychological thriller Faithfully Yours will hit theaters with Bracha in the lead role.
Gaite Jansen (1991) could be seen on the HBO/Cinemax show JETT, opposite Carla Gugino, directed by Sebastian Gutierrez. Prior to this, she played recurring roles on BBC’s PEAKY BLINDERS Season 3 and LINE OF DUTY Season 4. Gaite worked on stage with internationally renowned theatre directors such as Tony-winner Ivo van Hove and Simon Stone. Jeroen Spitzenberger is a beloved and versatile stage and screen actor. His past credits include roles in local box office hits such as LOVE IS ALL, as well as the immensely popular TV series DIVORCE and OOGAPPELS. Jeroen played leading roles in the cricitally acclaimed feature film BUMPERKLEEF and the crime series STANLEY H. for which he was recognized with a Golden Calf nomination for best actor. The International Film Festival Berlin selected Jonas as a Shooting Star 2018, one of ten brightest young European actors. Katja Herbers is a Dutch actress well-known for her role as ‘Emily’ in the hit series WESTWORLD opposite Ed Harris. Prior to that, she was series regular for two seasons on the critically-acclaimed series MANHATTAN created by Sam Shaw. Additional television credits include the mini-series MANHUNT:UNABOMBER, a recurring role on the final season of THE LEFTOVERS and THE AMERICANS. She can be seen in the lead role on EVIL, a TV-series for CBS in which Katja plays a clinical psychologist opposite Mike Colter. Season 3 is currently being filmed.

Martijn Lakemeier is the youngest Best Actor winner of all time at the Netherlands Film Festival. He received the Dutch film award for his acting debut in Martin Koolhoven's WINTER IN WARTIME (Shortlist Academy Award for best Foreign Film 2010). Ever since, Martijn landed lead roles in many films and TV series, such as in the critically acclaimed series DUTCH HOPE and the box office hit YES I DO. Pieter Embrechts is a multi-talent from Belgium; actor, director, writer, presenter, singer and songwriter. He starred in (amongst others) the feature films INSTINCT opposite Carice van Houten and REDBAD opposite Gijs Naber, and the TV-series FAMILIE KRUYS and SMERIS. In 2019, he played the role of 'Valentine' in David Bowie's theater play LAZARUS, for which he won the Musical Award for 'Best Actor in a Lead Role'. Up next is the release of the feature film STROMBOLI opposite Elise Schaap.
Sallie Harmsen (1989) is an award winning Dutch actress. Recent projects include BLADERUNNER 2049 directed by Denis Villeneuve, the international series HEIRS OF THE NIGHT directed by Diederik van Rooijen, the Sky Italy show DEVILS directed by Nick Hurran (THE PRISONERS) and THE POSTCARD KILLINGS by Oscar winning director Danis Tanovic. Sallie wrapped shooting SEA OF TIME, directed by Theu Boermans and the short film DRAWBACK, opposite Claes Bang (THE SQUARE). She recently wrapped filming DE STAMHOUDER by Diederik van Rooijen, which will air on television later this year.
Shahine El-Hamus (2000) is a striking young actor who played a break-out role in Norbert Ter Hall’s DE BELOFTE VAN PISA (2019) for which he received the Golden Calf for Best Actor at The Netherlands Film Festival. Dutch newspaper Volkskrant named Shahine 'Acting Talent of 2020'. Last year, he could be seen in two TV-series: LIEVE MAMA and HET A-WOORD. He is currently filming BESTSELLER BOY directed by Norbert ter Hall.
Susan Radder (1999) was nominated Best Actress at the Netherlands Film Festival 2016 for her lead role in HORIZON and won the Dutch Critics’ Award TV BEELDEN 2017 for Best Actor. She can also be seen in KAUWBOY which went on to win 13 international awards, amongst which Best Youth Film at the Berlin International Film Festival 2012 and the Young Audience Award at the European Film Awards 2012. Her recent work includes WWII-feature THE FORGOTTEN BATTLE, in which she plays the female lead, Bestseller Boy and Oogappels.
Thijs Boermans came to the scene with his striking performance in the Dutch Film Academy graduation film GAMEBOY (2014). He caught the eye of Dutch film critics, proclaiming him one of the new talents of 2015. Thijs also played the lead role in the controversial TV film THE STUDENT. In 2016, he could be seen in THE HERO, the opening film of the 36th Netherlands Film Festival, directed by Menno Meyjes, and recently in KLEINE IJSTIJD, directed by Paula van der Oest. He was one of the candidates of Expedition Robinson 2022.
Yootha Wong-Loi-Sing could be last seen in the pilot episode of CW's BLACK LIGHTENING, and as a series regular on LOVE IS_, a series on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network created by Mara Brock Akil. She also played a lead role in the independent film REALLY LOVE opposite Kofi Siriboe for Macro/Netflix, which has been selected for SXSW 2020 and for which she received the Special Jury Award. Yootha first came to the scene with a lead role in THE PRICE OF SUGAR, for which she received a Golden Calf nomination for Best Actress.
Zineb Fallouk (1987) can be seen as Samira in the award winning TV series MOCRO MAFFIA. She recently wrapped shooting for the new Videoland series HOCKEYVADERS and ROMAISSA - DE SUPERHELD UIT ROTTERDAM, directed and written by Fadua El Akchaoui. She is currently on set of the Dutch-Belgian project ALTER EGO. On stage she could be seen in several plays by Het Zuidelijk Toneel, Het Nationale Theater and DOX, amongst others.
Bobby Boermans (1981) is a Dutch director and producer of films, television series, music videos and commercials. He studied at the Dutch Film and Television Academy and earned his masters degree at the prestigious American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles. He directed the successful and critically acclaimed Dutch TV-series MOCRO MAFFIA, HIGH FLYERS and THE GOLDEN HOUR. He recently wrapped shooting INVASION.
David Eilander (Amsterdam, 1993) graduated from The Netherlands Film Academy. He directed many commercials and music videos. His first fiction project was the short film POLYP. After that he wrote and directed the film SMARTLAP, about an elderly pub owner who has a hard time keeping up with the rapid changes in the world around him. Currently, he is working on a part of the new season of Dutch hit series Mocro Maffia, and at the same time quietly works on laying the foundation for various new projects.
Before making the leap to the big screen, Jelle de Jonge directed many comedy shows on Dutch TV. His first feature film, BON BINI HOLLAND (2015), became a huge box office hit and won the Audience Award at the Netherlands Film Festival. His second feature, LOVE OVER DISTANCE (2017), starring Katja Herbers (WESTWORLD S2), received critical acclaim. Leading Dutch newspaper Volkskrant: “This is the romcom The Netherlands has been waiting for.”
Joosje Duk is a (screen)writer, director and actress. She wrote and directed the successful short film NIGHT, which won the HuffPost Arts Impact Award, was selected for over 25 film festivals, gained over 950k views online and screened at Disney’s studios. The film stars Rachel Hilson (NBC’s THIS IS US and HULU’s LOVE, VICTOR). She recently won the Netflix New Voices Script Contest and is currently in production with her first feature film which she will also direct.
Shady El-Hamus (1988) is an award winning Dutch-Egyptian director and screenwriter. He directed and co-wrote the first Dutch Netflix Original Film FOREVER RICH which recently came out to rave reviews. His first feature film he directed and co-wrote, ABOUT THAT LIFE (2019) won a Golden Calf for Best Screenplay. Dutch newspaper Volkskrant named him one of three directing talents of 2018. Shady graduated from both The Netherlands Film Academy and the prestigious MA National Film and Television School in London. At the Netherlands Film Festival 2012, Shady was awarded the Dioraphte Award for Most Outstanding Graduation Student of the Year. His short film NIGHTSHADE is the Dutch submission for the Academy Awards 2018.
